Happy Memorial Day Weekend! I hope you all are having an excellent weekend and out doing something fun… after you read my post 🙂
The week started on Monday (duh) with an image of Mather Gorge aka. Great Falls National Park
I went to the US National Arboretum for the first time. Although I didn’t get to spend that much time there, I saw some beautiful flowers, like these purple ones.
The same day I went to the Arboretum, I borrowed a 70-200mm lens from my local camera store (See my lens review here). I knew exactly where I wanted to go to go. Check out this view of the DC Monuments at sunrise.
Although I woke up everyday this past week for sunrise, the sun was not coporating! The last nice sky was Wednesday, I was busy all day Thursday and Friday, so I had to resort to some of my old images. The first one was from Yosemite National Park in March. There was still a little bit of snow and you can see in this Merced River image. The second “older” image is from Alexandria, VA when I went to visit Mt. Vernon in February. It’s an image of MOOOO Cows eating.
I am so lucky to have been featured in two blogs this week. The first was FamousDC.com where I had an image of the Jefferson at sunrise.
and then TheHungryMuse.com featured some of my images to give an awesome review about the awesome food in awesome Vegas.
Hmmm.. What else I think that may be it.
Hope you all have a great holiday and see you back here on Monday!
