The weather in Va has been pretty weird if you ask me. For example, it will be a beautiful, clear day and then the next day we’ll have 12 hrs of straight snow. Frankie loves it. As for me, it has left me a little confused as to when I can go outside and shoot. So I decided to head to Meadowlark Botanical Garden to see if I could find some early signs of spring.
Over the weekend, I got the chance to spend a little time in Lake Anna, VA. It’s a beautiful lake and on the way I saw this beautiful little pond. I’m pretty sure I trespassed to get this image, but hey! It was worth it.

At first I didn’t think it was going to be that great of a sunrise. There were some nice clouds but it took a while for the colors to actually show. So glad I stuck around for a bit longer.

I don’t know why, whenever I see a cat of any sort I have to scream “Kitty”! Does that happen to you?
This image was taken at the San Diego zoo through the glass. It was a little hard to focus and get the right exposure but I love the fact that the tiger is staring right at me.
