Wow Bostonians take their baseball seriously. After taking the tour of Fenway park, I even got a little emotional about the sport and I’ve never seen a game in my life! It was a great tour though. It definitely made me appreciate America’s pastime.

The Liberty Hotel is one of those hidden gems in Boston. Thanks to my cousin, Leslie, who used to live in the city told me about this place. As soon as you walk in, you can’t help but notice all the available seating. That may be because this hotel used to be a prison! There are so many balconies and railings that you can kinda see how this place used to be a jail house.

The first time I ever visited Boston was in 2009 for my birthday 🙂 and there are a few things I remembered from that trip. I remembered walking through this arch way and thinking how cool the city looked. At that time, there was a huge American Flag hanging from the middle of the arch way. I wonder what happened to it.
I’m home from Boston and it was definitely a memorable trip. Before I left the city, I had to stop by the memorial of the Boston bombings. Maybe its because I’m from DC and memorials are so common, but I knew it was something I couldn’t pass up. It was so touching to see the amount of support and uplifting words the city had for the victims. Even little stuffed animals lined the fences for the young boy who lost his life.

I’m not sure why, but I’ve been visiting the reflecting pool a lot. Its such an iconic place to be. With the Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Korean Memorial and view of the Monument all right there. It’s most definitely one of my favorite places to photograph for sunrise and sunset.
