For a few days we stayed in Camano Island. A little closer to the tulip festival than Seattle was plus we found this cute air bnb with a great host. But the best part about it was that it was so close to the water. One night before heading out to dinner, Kelly and I noticed the gorgeous sky. It had been raining for most of the afternoon and finally broke up right before the sun went down. This was taken by the Camano Island Yacht Club.
While I was in Philadelphia, I spent most of my time at the University of Pennsylvania. I remember visiting the campus a while ago when my cousin was an undergrad there but haven’t been back since. I LOVED the campus. At first I loved how close all the colleges were together (Drexel, Penn, Wharton) but then while I was walking around I feel in love with the community. Everyone is so nice and friendly. I felt like I was home. The campus itself was beautiful and very clean. I also liked how there were plenty of shops and restaurants in the area to keep me entertained.
HOLY MOLY! I feel like I hit the jackpot. The other day I was going through some old images trying to look for a particular one when I found a folder labeled “Thailand 2009”. An instant smile went on my face as soon as I opened the folder.
In 2009, Andrew and I went to visit his sister, Audrey, who had just joined the Peace Corp in Thailand. It was an amazing trip from Chiang Mai, Bangkok to Phuket. I thought it would be fun to share some of the images with you. Mind you that this was pre-Angela B. Pan Photography days. All these were shot for fun but for all you photographers out there- they were shot in automatic and jpg 🙁

I love that I was look at alternate perspectives of this temple.
This baby elephant is probably the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.
I remember taking this picture. We were on a river taxi waiting for some people to get on and off the boat by our hotel. I remember thinking, “oh cool, I can use this for my scrapbook” HAHA
And an amazing cliff in Southern Thailand.
How awesome is that! I loved look at these images again. It bought back so many fun memories. But theres still more to come tomorrow. Part II of Thailand.

Third day in a row for pretty epic sunrises. I love it! I love how they’ve all been so different but all beautiful at the same time.
The first thing I did when I woke up in the morning was check my phone to see what the weather was like outside. The app said 21 degrees and mostly cloudy. Sounds like the perfect excuse to stay in bed, but I didn’t. We haven’t had any cloudy days recently and if there was any chance for a nice sunrise, today was going to be the day. I dragged myself out of bed and the first thing I said when I left my house was, “ohhh shizzle”. But in a good way 🙂
