Happy Weekend Everyone!
As you are reading this, I will be enjoying the Florida sun in Miami! I’m going there for a marketing conference, but I’ll also make the time to get you guys some sunrises and sunsets.

So, here’s what happened this past week:
I was soo honored to be featured in Travel Channels Best Fall Foliage Shots:

I also wrote an article. I’m officially a published author!

Now for some of the images:
If this past week had a theme, it would definitely be nature’s beauty. See what I mean:
I had four different images from Great Falls. The first one was from a really foggy morning. Then I had a sunrise that was really pink. These two images were a few minutes from each other, but you can see the difference in sky here and here.
I revisited one of my favorite images from the Shenandoah Mountains last year and got really close to a spider in Great Falls.

Hope you all have a great weekend and prepare for some beach images!

This image was taken last year in the Shenandoah Mountains at sunrise. Unfortunately there wasn’t much of a sun because of all the fog, but I’m really starting to get into these fog images. Lately I’ve been noticing myself hoping for it.

I had to post this image because I had a fail this morning. I tried going out for some sunrise images but as soon as I got to my location it started raining, HARD. So, I plan on going out tomorrow and hopefully bringing you guys something very new. In the mean time, I really like the abstractness of this image.

Taken the day after this image of Great Falls. I went back the very next day because I was hoping for the same fog effect as the previous image. I went extra early and was pretty disappointed when there was no fog. I waited for about 10 minutes I got this amazing sky. Unfortunately it only last for about a minute and I didn’t get very many shots. Its so weird, sometimes the sky will be beautiful for what seems like 20 minutes. Other times you can blink and it will be gone.

I’m so lucky I got this shot. I woke up a little late and got to Great Falls National Park a lot later than I wanted to. While making my way to where I wanted to set up, I noticed the fog peaking through trees. I got so excited and ran as fast as I could to set up. I had to move quick because I knew the colors in the sky wouldn’t last very long either.

With all the tropical storms, hurricanes, and other freak weather we’ve been having in VA, Great Falls is really flooded. It’s pretty cool because now I get all new vantage points because there are rocks that I’d always default to, but now I can’t even see them because of the water levels.

Happy Weekend!
I made a video introducing myself to the youtube community and on my site. I’m pretty happy with it:

It’s pretty cool that I was able to get so many images from just one shoot. See what I mean:
I went to Manassas the day after Tropical Storm Lee left. I got this cool Foggy Tree, Stone House, and Canon on the Battlefield.
The actual day Tropical Storm Lee left I captured this image of the Lincoln Memorial at Sunset.
I’ve finally captured an image of the new MLK Jr. Memorial that I’m happy with.

Hope you all enjoyed the video and images.
