Home from my trip to Taiwan. I had such a great time visiting my grandparents and hanging out with my mom and extended family. But I’m also glad to be home. By the way, when did it get so cold?

This particular image was taken one night on top of Elephant Mountain. Shout out to my mom for climbing up all those steep steps with me. She really didn’t have to do it but she loves me and likes going out to take pictures with me ๐Ÿ™‚ My grandparents used to live really close to here and I even remembered climbing up the same steps when I was younger. My mom told me that my grandfather used do this climb everyday as exercise. That must be the secret to a healthy life because he’s 99 years old!

Home from an amazing trip out west. I still feel like I’m recovering from the lack of sleep I got and all the fun I was having. So this weekend is reserved for rest and photo editing ๐Ÿ™‚

Here’s an image I took on my second day in San Francisco. I headed up to Twin Peaks for sunrise and was surprised to see about 10 other people already there. Half of them were there for photography while the other half had obviously been there all night partying. So this lead to some interesting conversations about UFOs,ย moroccan food, and Lucy Liu. Don’t ask. I have no idea either.

I didn’t get to talk to this woman but I’m positive she has some interesting stories of her own ๐Ÿ™‚

Here are 3 things that made me so happy this past week:

1. Connecting with friends from the Arcanum and all our photo adventures

2. Meeting Anelise in real life and surprising Ana at her awesome new store in Sacramento

3. Climbing down a steep hill in Muir Woods with Kyle and his wife Danielle to take some funny pictures with trees. More about that one later.

Looking forward to today. Today I’m meeting up with my awesome graphic designer, Anelise from Anelise Salvo Design Co. We met through instagram and have been working together for at least half a year now. She’s the lady responsible for my beautiful website, the monthly downloads and more things we’ve got in the works. Love working with her and can’t wait to meet face-to-face ๐Ÿ™‚

Last full day on the lake and I’ve been trying my hardest to stand up on the wake board. Somehow I always get up a little and always loose my grip.

Update: I got up!! I just had to change my grip and it was so much easier. Before I had one hand up and one hand down. Now I hold the bar with both hands going in the same direction and I was able to ride.

This past week was a little insane. Not only was I in Philly and DC for Trey’s Photowalks but there was my best friend’s wedding, meetings and catching up with friends.

Here’s what I am most grateful for:

1. My best friend got married! This has been a long time coming and the entire celebration was so perfect.

2. Meeting and walking with so many of my photo friends at the photowalks. The whole thing was such a whirlwind of fun.

3. Planning a weekend getaway to NYC for my birthday sometime soon <3
