Standing in the middle of the street again. I’m starting to notice a trend. But I like it!
As you’re reading this, I’m on my way to London! Excited to explore the city with my camera. What should I do first?
Have you guys been watching the Olympics? I’m sorry to say that I’m a little obsessed. My favorites are women’s gymnastics (duh!) and women’s swimming. I mean how insane is Katie Ledecky? While I watching her match over the weekend she beat her own world record by almost a body length. AND she’s only 19! That’s crazy! At 19 I was worried about finding a fake ID so I could get into the club that weekend. Not breaking world records. It’s so inspiring to watch.
Paris is one of those places where I gotta go back. There just wasn’t enough time to see everything that I wanted to see including the Grand Arche. In fact, we didn’t even make it anywhere near that side of the city. There are so many things to do, to see, and to eat there there was no way we would of made it over there in the 4 days we had there. I was just thinking about crossiants so I figured an image from the top of the Arc de Triomphe was in order.
Starting to feel a bit antsy. Almost 1 month away from our trip to Tokyo! Can’t wait! If you’ve been there and have recommendations, please let me know. I want to see some cool stuff and eat some good things 🙂
Three things I was grateful for this week:
2. Starting a new book this week but can’t forget about this one.
3. My excuse for sleeping in a little this past week.
I remember the exact time when I took this image. We were on our way to get some afternoon tea and macarons. Actually, the afternoon tea part was a happy accident. We intended to take some macarons to-go but when we walked through the door we saw everyone sitting and enjoying tea in this beautifully decorated space. So of course I squealed and asked Andrew if we could sit and have some tea too. He couldn’t say no but after 10 minutes into it we looked around and noticed he was the only guy in the whole restaurant. HAHA! It wasn’t until we left did we find the side entrance where you could get your macarons to-go 🙂 Oh well, it was des tonnes de plaisir.
