So, its still raining. This is forcing me to go back, all the way back to last year. This image was taken at Shenandoah National Park along skyline drive for sunrise.
Going back through these images makes me wonder how I actually took these images and what I was thinking. It’s pretty funny.
Like I said yesterday, DC has been getting a lot of rain. It makes it very difficult to take sunrise and sunset images because the clouds have been convering the sun. So, I went with my friend William to shoot Meadowlark Gardens. I have a good time shooting with him because he makes me think about a lot of things I’ve never thought about, whether its how to find the right composition or about photo as a business.
Unfortunately, it started raining right in the middle of us walking around the gardens. Fortunately, it stopped pretty quickly and we were able to get some great shots of water droplets on flowers.
Note to self: buy more water-proof clothing.
The weather in DC has been kinda crappy lately. It hasn’t really felt like summer for the past few weeks and the rest of this week is calling for rain. This is forcing me to look back at some of my old shoots and see if I can find something worth while.
So, I know I have lots of images of the Jefferson, but this one is kinda different than the others because this is the back side of the memorial. A side that isn’t viewed very often.
This was taken at the same time as this image. The difference now is that I think this post processing is better. As this daily blog continues, I can tell a huge difference in my work from when I first started (back in January). It’s really unbelivable to see. Sometimes I’m think to myself, “Wow I can’t believe I took that image”. It makes me really grateful for being able to do what I do and I know that its only going to get better and I can’t wait!
Happy Labor Day!!
Yesterday my boyfriend and I spent the day at Rehoboth Beach. Just a little way to say goodbye to summer. We spent time shopping, ate a lot and spent together. It was awesome! While on a little walk on the boardwalk, I saw this Vespa against the fence and I loved it. Unfortunately I only had my camera with me and not my tripod, so this shot was handheld. I’m pretty happy with the result.
