This was taken at the same time as this image. The difference now is that I think this post processing is better. As this daily blog continues, I can tell a huge difference in my work from when I first started (back in January). It’s really unbelivable to see. Sometimes I’m think to myself, “Wow I can’t believe I took that image”. It makes me really grateful for being able to do what I do and I know that its only going to get better and I can’t wait!

So, the hurricane wasn’t all that I thought it was going to be. It was kinda disappointing. I thought after the storm passed I’d get all these crazy beautiful skies, but it just didn’t happen. This is the morning after Irene. The weather report called for clear skies, but I thought, how could it possibly be clear?
FINALLY! I’ve been waiting to go to the capitol to get this reflection shot. For some reason, either the reflection pool wasn’t filled, the sky didn’t look right, or for whatever reason I could not get the image I wanted. FINALLY! this morning was my time.
One of the best parts about shooting at sunrise: lots of available parking 🙂
