On the way back to SFO from Yosemite, I saw these windmills and it reminded me of a microsoft desktop. I had to pull over. The highway was so windy because of all the traffic zooming by, I had to duck behind our car in order to take this image.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

How beautiful is Rodeo Beach? I wish I could to stay in the Bay area a little bit longer so I could get more color in the sunset. I never realized how difficult it was to get color in the sky on the west coast. Oh well, guess I gotta move so I can spend more time there 🙂

People in California are so nice. It’s a little bit weird, coming from the east coast, people are usually too busy with what they are doing that they have no time to be friendly.
The first time I came to Ft. Baker to take this image, I didn’t know how to get closer to the water. I saw a man walk past and asked him for suggestions. He was so nice he offered to help me down the rocks and when I said, “not thats ok”, he said he’d wait for me to climb down to make sure I was ok.
East coasters- how crazy is that? West Coasters- is everyone that nice?

Tunnel View was by far my favoritest view in Yosemite National Park. While we were in the park, it had rained one day and kept on going until the next morning. I tried to go out to shoot but everything was covered by clouds.
Part of being a photographer is being patient and waiting for the perfect moment. We came back to this spot about 2 hours after we our initial try and it was the perfect. What do you think?

While I was driving to Muir Woods, just outside of San Francisco, I didn’t know if I’d like it or not. I knew I would see huge Redwood trees, but really, whats so great about that?
It’s hard to give you a perfect description of it, but its amazing.
I entered the park and spent the first 10 minutes just staring at Redwood Creek. Its hard not to because the water looked so pretty flowing over the green moss that lined the rocks along the creek.
