OK, I changed my mind again. I’m back in love with snow.
Popped a few valentines day chocolates for breakfast and I was off to shoot on this very white Presidents day.

One of my favorite skylines. Why? Because I remember being really warm taking these pictures.
Starting to feel a bit antsy. Almost 1 month away from our trip to Tokyo! Can’t wait! If you’ve been there and have recommendations, please let me know. I want to see some cool stuff and eat some good things 🙂
Three things I was grateful for this week:
1. Awesome Arcanum meetup at the National Cathedral. So fun taking pictures with friends.
2. Starting a new book this week but can’t forget about this one.
3. My excuse for sleeping in a little this past week.
Want to hear something funny? Or at least I think it’s funny.
Typically I’m a pretty calm, laid back person. I’m a slow walker and I like to take my time doing things. The other day, Andrew told me that the only time he ever sees me rush is when I’m out taking pictures. I thought that was hilarious because it’s so true. ESPECIALLY if there’s good light. The sun don’t wait for nobody so you gotta grab your camera and go!
This was taken last night at Great Falls park. A great example of a time where I had to rush.
We were at the National Cathedral so early we could see the sun light peaking through the stained glass windows. It was literally the most colorful sunrise I’d ever seen. All the lights bouncing off the Cathedral walls was so cool and bright, it kind of turned the ceiling blue at one point.
Another super fun Arcanum hangout. This time at the Washington National Cathedral. Thanks so much to Chris who took the time out to show us around before it even opened. It was so cool to visit without being other people’s way and he even took us to a few places the general public aren’t allowed to visit. Awesomeeee…..
Here’s a group pic of us on the balcony.
I took so many pictures, I’m pretty sure you’ll be seeing more of the Cathedral in the next few days.
