Now for a total opposite change of weather, Hawaii! In some ways, Hawaii and Iceland are very similar. They are both very volcanic with amazing views and their own distinct features. It’s just one is very cold and one is hot.
Last night’s blue moon.
I’m trying to practice my full moon shots. I don’t think I’ve quit perfected them yet because every time I go, it’s hard for me to find the perfect composition. The photographers ephemeris app helps but I still need to practice my timing.
Early morning at the Washington Monument. This spot is a beautiful spot to view the sunrise because right in front of you is the monument and right behind you is the Jefferson Memorial. Can it get any better?
I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a view like this before at the capitol. That’s because tripods are restricted from the grounds and if you try to put one up, the Capitol police come at you within seconds. Fortunately, this past sunday night I didn’t have any troubles and got to get this beautiful angle.
