So we made it to the tulip fields a little too late. Most of the tulips had already been harvested and all that were left were ones that were in Roozengaarde. Some were even wilting a little bit but I thought it was beautiful in its own way. They opened up so much more and you could really examine their insides. They also created these bigger and fuller shapes which made for a beautiful pov from the top.

While everyone is waiting for the cherry blossoms to bloom in the city, I was out over the weekend checking out the Magnolia trees. These trees are so beautiful and I love seeing them starting to bloom.

I’ve also been concentrating more on seeing what I love, simplicity and trying to stay true to my aesthetics. It’s not always shooting architecture with an amazing sky in the background. It’s about appreciating the little things in life that make me smile.

The first thing I did when I woke up in the morning was check my phone to see what the weather was like outside. The app said 21 degrees and mostly cloudy. Sounds like the perfect excuse to stay in bed, but I didn’t. We haven’t had any cloudy days recently and if there was any chance for a nice sunrise, today was going to be the day. I dragged myself out of bed and the first thing I said when I left my house was, “ohhh shizzle”. But in a good way 🙂
