So thrilled to be featured twice in FamousDC this week.

Usually I would of never taken pictures of ducks, but I was out shooting with William and Michael earlier today and thought, why not. It’s good to try new things and I was really excited when I saw this image on my camera. I think they were going after pieces of bread that we had thrown in the water.
I know I posted an image similar to this one a few weeks ago (seen here), but I wasn’t that happy with it. I think there was too much going on and a lot of color that it was hard to tell what was really going on. This one turned out much more successful I think.
Ok, so I have to admit, I was running late this morning. I just wanted to stay in bed and sleep in. Even when I got out of bed, I kinda took my time getting into the car and leaving. I wanted to go to Great Falls park and try to get images there, but I didn’t make it there on time. On my way there, I passed this lake and I just had to stop. The foliage was so pretty and I thought, I always go to Great Falls, why not try something new.
This image was taken a little while ago in Manassas, Virginia. I didn’t get time to shoot this weekend so I’m looking forward to getting back out there. Autumn is here and the leaves have started to change. I think it’s time for me to go to skyline drive pretty soon.
