As you’re reading this, I’m probably on a plane to San Francisco! I’ll be there for Trey Ratcliff’s last photowalk stop on his tour and meeting up with a few other masters and apprentices of the Arcanum. It should be a super fun weekend. So if you’re in the bay area, definitely come check it out 🙂

So glad it’s Friday! I had a busy week of meetings and appointments and currently listening to a lot of hammer banging because we’re getting repairs done to the house. It’s not the funnest thing to listen to while you’re working, but I’m glad our shower is finally getting fixed.
What are your plans for the holiday weekend?
Here are three things that I’m grateful for this week:
1. Theres nothing like seeing your work blown up and center stage in a law office right next to the White House! So exciting to see this in person.
2. Starting to work with interns. I have Nia who’s a film student at Howard U and Jon who’s a freshmen at American U. I’m excited to see what will come out of these two 🙂
3. Booked my trip to San Francisco.
Wishing you and your family a prosperous 2014!!
So simple but I’ve never seen the sky look so subtle. I remember when I was processing this image I even impressed myself 🙂

Each year it’s always a challenge to find a unique angle for the fireworks in DC. This year, I was really happy with the results.

Funny fact. A pink moon isn’t actually pink. I figured that out this night.

In early September, I had a beautiful time in Sedona, AZ. I think we were there during a unusual time of the year. They were getting lots of rain which also meant lots of rainbows and clouds.

This was my first time in Watkins Glen State Park and it’s pretty amazing. I would love to go again. This was my favorite image from that trip.

One morning while I was in California, I drove up to Treasure Island to meet up with my friend, Tubay. I met him a few years ago while I was at Rodeo Beach and always kept in touch. He suggested we meet up at Treasure Island to try to catch the new lights on the Bay Bridge. We didn’t get to see the show, but it was great catching up 🙂
