Even though I’m not done going through all my Japan images, I’m still out shooting. This was taken two weeks ago, right after it stopped raining. I’m a sucker for weather images and I thought this puddle brought a different perspective.

Our apartment was in Shinjuku so that’s where we spent most of our time. Which turned out perfect because it was my favorite part of the city. Theres all these great alley ways, stores and restaurant. Every where you turned, there was something new and interesting to see.
I love how the crosswalks in this picture sort of divides everything. In each little corner there’s so much going on. Everybody’s lives are all different but somehow lead them to this one intersection. And then you have me, the creeper from the balcony photographing it all 🙂
Just in case you were wondering, walking around in the freezing rain isn’t as fun as walking around in snow. I don’t know, its just not the same…
Since the weather was pretty crappy on Monday, I started playing this new game. Ride the metro for as long as you can tolerate, get off at a random stop, then walk around until you figure out where you are, then (thanks to my awesome sense of direction) find your way to a different metro stop, and go home. It’s a pretty fun game that you all should try!
So that was an exciting weekend. Snowzilla hit our area hard and I’m so thankful all my family and friends are home and safe.
This was taken Friday as the blizzard started happening in Chinatown. I have quite a few more images to go through so being snowed in gives me the perfect opportunity to look through them all. I could of done it this weekend, but I was busy laying around (to be honest).
