I love how Europeans travel on bikes. It’s definitely not like where I live in Virginia where everyone is in a car. You hardly see anyone on bikes. But in Paris, you see people coming home from work or going to the grocery store on them. It’s such great exercise and great for the environment. It makes me want to bust out my bike but I haven’t actually ridden one since middle school.

Since I’m scheduling these photos ahead of time, I thought I’d look back on my last trip from when I was in Washington State. Sometimes I find it better to let the photos sit for a while before post processing them. It gives me new eyes on the images and I have a clearer head as to where I want them to go. I LOVE the deep colors in this one.
I was photographing the sunrise by the reflecting pool when I turned around and looked at the Lincoln Memorial. Mr. Lincoln was glowing! This orange light was radiating from the interior. I had to go inside.
I happened to be with my cousin who is the one standing ion the corner. I didn’t even notice him there until I was processing this image but left him in for scale.
I always seem to come back to the Capitol building (seen here and here). It’s so big and gorgous that there are so many different vantage points in the interior and exterior. I love this building.
Check me out vlogging about it here.
