So all that rain from the other day really caused a big flood at the Tidal Basin yesterday. It was kinda crazy to see exactly how much water there actually was.

I took so many images those 24 hours. Im trying my best to get through them all. Expect a vlog soon 🙂

I went out yesterday not really know what to expect. The whole day had been foggy and rainy. At one point the sun came out. But that only lasted for 5 minutes before it got SUPER dark. The rain started pouring and I had kinda made up my mind that I was going to stay home. Twenty minutes later I looked out the window again and the rain had stopped. I went out and hoped to get some moody US Capitol shots and ended up with this. So when I say it was a crazy weather day yesterday, I ain’t lying!

The last time I was at the Grand Canyon I was caught in the middle of a huge rainstorm. We spent most of the day trapped in the visitor center with about 50 other people. Not really the type of adventure I had anticipated but as soon as the rain stopped this beautiful fog rolled through the canyon. It made the Grand Canyon look so small because hardly anything was visible.

I remember taking this a little bit before the 4th of July. Probably July 3rd or something. I remember because this guy stopped me while I on top of the Lincoln steps and told me he had just finished watching my tutorial on how to take firework pictures. I thought it was so cool that he even remembered my name! We then talked about where we were going to take pictures for the holiday and other DC things. It was pretty cool.
