I took this shot again with a purpose. The purpose was to test out the Canon 70-200mm v ii Telephoto Lens. I was lucky because the sunrise was GORGEOUS! A very excellent testing day if you ask me.
Hey Everyone! Hope you all had a great week! I did 🙂
Here’s what’s been going on: I was at the US Botanical Gardens and posted a few pictures: Pink Orchid and Name that Flower. Name that flower has still remained nameless so if you know, please comment below! The flower is beautiful!
If you’re visiting DC from out of town, one of the best places to catch the sunrise is at the Lincoln Memorial. There’s a gorgeous view of the whole mall and the sun is lights it up beautifully.
My orginial intention was to go and capture the reflection pool with the monument, but it’s closed for construction. I had to go some where that all the cranes and dirt would not be visible in the image. I climbed the Lincoln Memorial stairs and instead of going inside I tried out the right side to see the view. Hope you like the image 🙂
I’ve been wanting this shot for a while now. I still need more practice because I really had to crop this down in order for me to get what I was looking for. Either I need a longer lens at this same spot or find a closer spot to this gorgeous view.
My second vlog! Please let me know what you guys think and if you’d like to see any other kinds of videos. Frankie, my puppy, makes a guest appearance in this one.
