How was your weekend? Mine went by too fast..

There have been so many times when I’ve gone to the airport super early in the morning (because of an early flight) and saw the sunrise from these ceiling to floor windows. The problem is, I always pack my camera or I’m rushing to my flight and theres not enough time to get a cool pic. I’ve kept it in the back of mind to go so I thought today would be a perfect day since there weren’t any clouds in the sky at sunrise.
Tulip or lollipop? Tulip or lollipop? I don’t know. I don’t know!
I got this great comment on my youtube video of when I traveled to VA Beach. It said:
“I love your videos! But most of all how you always truly enjoy each sunrise.
I work with a lot of photographers and they get so “jaded” after shooting for many years. It makes it hard for me to pose because like you each shoot is an opportunity and adventure for me.
It’s so wonderful to watch somebody that enjoys their work.”
It seriously made my day when I read that. I’m so glad that you all can see how much I love what I do and I appreciate the opportunity to shoot such a beautiful landscape almost everyday.
Jelly fish from the Virginia Aquarium. Even as a little kid, the jelly fish exhibit was one of my favorites. They always seemed so graceful and beautiful. They are a little difficult to shoot through the glass though.
As I was walking around the park, I noticed the people there taking pictures of the sunset. Despite the one image I got of it, I couldn’t really find another compelling composition. I noticed these trees on the other side of this little swamp and thought they looked so pretty. I spent a few minutes trying to come up with a peaceful composition and after I took it, I thought to myself “that is so ME”! I love taking pics with most of the subject on the bottom 3rd of the image with a beautiful sky.
