Hi!
This week has been pretty unpredictable with thunderstorms on and off. You’ll see me discussing it in a lot of my posts from the past week.

Here we go:
Over the weekend, Meg from my facebook group identified the mystery flowers. I was so happy when I could finally say I had some beautiful images of Passion Flowers.

I brought you all the way to Paris.. Paris, Las Vegas that is with this cool night shot. I even tweeted it to ParisVegas and this is what they had to say

Next I went to the Constitution Gardens at sunset. Not many people know about this place, so I hope you all enjoy this image and try to make it out there one day.

Who wants to see a cool image of a Yellow Bulldozer?

Last but not least, I went to the Jefferson Memorial for Sunrise. The Jefferson is beautiful all year around, not just during cherry blossom season.

WHAT?? 2 vlogs in one week?
See what it’s like that the Library of Congress when I went last week.
Don’t make fun of me, 5am is really early to watch the sunrise over the Jefferson Memorial

FamousDC featured my Library of Congress image on their site this past week:

That is all for now, hope you all have a great weekend 🙂

The Jefferson Memorial isn’t just for the Cherry Blossoms, it’s beautiful anytime of the year. Although when I went this morning, I didn’t get the shot I expected. I wanted to go down closer to the tidal basin and walk around to try to find my perfect image. Come to find out it was flooded. All these thunderstorms got in my way again! Rain, rain go AWAY!

This past week has been pretty difficult for me. Thunderstorms have been so on and off that it’s hard to plan my photo adventures (it just started storming again right now). The upside to it is that we’ve been getting these amazing clouds. So, once I noticed that there was a break in the rain, I was out the door. I didn’t know exactly where I was going but I ended up by the Anocastia River. I found this bulldozer and I started studying it with my camera. I tried different angles and found I was most excited about this shot.

I knew I wanted to come to the Constitution Gardens for a sunset image because its one of those forgotten places in the mall. It’s kind of hidden and I don’t hear too much about it. It’s a really pretty place with willow trees and ducks all around.

But when I got there to take the image it was pretty difficult. It was hard to come up with a good composition. I circled the pond for a while, until I came up with this image. Hope you all like it.

Guess what? I went to Paris over the weekend! It was awesome.

Just Kidding.

I wish.

This is of Paris Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Taken right before sunrise, there were plenty of people stumbling out of the casinos. They had a lot to say to me, some of which was really funny. Oh to be sober, when others aren’t. HAHA

Thank you so much to Meg from my Facebook group who was able to identify this beautiful flower for me.

This was taken at the US Botanical garden in DC. When I first saw these blooms I was stunned. I never saw anything like this and as you can see in my other image of the flower, you can actually see water flowing out of it. How awesome is that?

I would really like to go back soon to take more shots of these flowers. I loved it there and I know I have so much more to see there.

Did you see my vlog at the Botanical Gardens?
