Last week I was out shooting the sunset. The sunset was spectacular but I wasn’t in a very good spot to photograph it. I was kinda down and was ready to head back to my car. But then I turned around and saw this amazing glow on the Washington Monument. It looks like a sword in the sky, doesn’t it?
If you guessed Iceland yesterday than you are correct! This was shot last time I was there. I was with a group of people who weren’t photographers. This time I hope to spend more time photographing this beautiful country. I can’t wait to explore!
Views from the top of the world. Love this perspective that a lot of tourists don’t get to see. If you’re interested in something like this and visiting Tokyo, definietly definietly check out EYExplore. I highly recommend them and tell them I sent you 🙂
In other news, today is a travel day. I’m going somewhere veryyyy icey. Can you guess?
Still the same sunrise from the other day. Crazy how the different view points of the city can make the same sky look so different.
After all the fog lifted, there was an AMAZING sunrise. I definietly was not expecting the clouds to look like this and the water was just like a mirror. Absolutely amazing.
I was driving to my usual parking spot at the tidal basin paddle boats parking lot when I saw this. I quickly stopped even before I could see if anyone was behind me (luckily there wasn’t) and just stared at this scene. The fog simplified everything so much that it really became about the lines and shape of the trees and the monument. I immediately parked and ran back. I couldn’t let the fog go away. I think it presents a sort of creepy, Halloween-y mood, don’t you think?
