Taken last year by the monument when it still had its scaffolding up. I thought it was pretty cool since it’s not very often you see the monument with scaffolding. Hope everyone has a happy and safe holiday! What are your plans to celebrate America today?

Getting ready for Friday! Who’s excited for Independence day? Hopefully the rain won’t effect the fireworks.

For the past few weeks we’ve been having some crazy rain storms. I thought it would be cool to get a panoramic of the reflecting pool to catch the whole scene.

When I was little, I used to always call the Washington Monument the “pencil”. Anyone else used to call it that? HAHA
