Taken last year by the monument when it still had its scaffolding up. I thought it was pretty cool since it’s not very often you see the monument with scaffolding. Hope everyone has a happy and safe holiday! What are your plans to celebrate America today?

Lots of storms in our area lately. Even though this was taken last year, it’s been a familiar seen.
Looking back at my old photos, I don’t know why I never processed this one. Love how the sun light is hitting the flowers.
Last night around sunset, I was walking around the Capitol to find the good light. I noticed that it was right behind the lions of the Ulysses S. Grant Statue and thought this was a cool composition that made it look like it was look overing the city.
Andrew wanted to go to the Nike store in Georgetown. So… what am I supposed to do? Wonder around with my camera 🙂
