Is it just me or is the daylight savings time change messing with you too? I don’t know, when I was little I never really noticed. As I’m getting older the more and more it effects me. It’s kinda crazy how I’ll look at the clock and won’t believe the time. What’s also crazy is this weather we’re having. I just got back from a walk with Frankie and I was wearing a tshirt! a TSHIRT! and last week at this time we had ice all over the ground.

Looking at this picture makes me feel calm and relaxed. It reminds me of how beautiful and peaceful the winter can be. And theres something about those winter clouds that are so much fun to capture with your camera but I don’t think I’ll miss it anytime soon. I won’t miss having to pack on the layers of clothing and making sure I have my hat and gloves.

However, I’m SUPER looking forward to the spring. I love spring in DC. Not only for the cherry blossoms, but people just seem to climb out of hibernation and be happy.

I didn’t have much to do this weekend. Usually I’m busy running around with errands, home furniture shopping, or just catching up family and friends. This weekend had a little bit of that, but mostly just hanging out with Andrew and Frankie at home. It was nice. I was able to catch up on work but also watch some fun tutorials like this one from Lisa in the Arcanum.

I know on my blog I haven’t spoken much about it, but it’s a pretty big part of my photo life right now. Ever since I became a master in July, I feel I have grown so much as a photographer. I’m so grateful to be a part of such a great photo community to constantly push myself and see so much variety in images and creativity. One of the best parts is that I get to meet and hang out with people with the same interests as me all over the world! I love it! And seriously don’t know where I’d be without my cohort and the great Arcanum community.

Not only is sunrise beautiful, but if you wait a little bit longer. 20 minutes sometimes 30 minutes, you’ll see this gorgeous light reflecting off of things and you’ll fall in love with the morning all over again.

Did that make sense? I dunno. Early morning light is just awesome sauce no matter how you put it 🙂
