The past few mornings I’ve been waking up it’s been raining or extra cloudy. So, this morning when my alarm went off, I checked my weather app on my iphone and it said rain. So, I thought I could go back to sleep. I don’t know what happened, but I kinda just woke up and looked out the window and saw all this color. My app was wrong!! It wasn’t raining!
I quickly got up and hopped into my car. I drove just down the street to this lake I pass every morning. What’s funny about this lake is that I always look at it to see how the sunrise will be. Its a great indication if its going to be a colorful one or bad one, but I’ve never taken pics here. Today was the perfect day for that!

Tom Kierein, the amazing meteorologist at NBC invited me out to tour the studio yesterday and I had a blast! Just seeing the studio, newsrooms and all the work and effort that goes into the news everyday was incredible. I think I said “that’s so cool” about 50 times. Not only that, everyone at NBC were so incredibly nice.
Thanks again to Tom who took me around the studio and let me watch him in action!
Went on a walk around Arlington Cemetery the other day in preparations for our tour in May. Check it out here! It will be a lot of history, lot of photo taking, a lot of walking but a great time overall 🙂
I spent the morning at the WWII memorial. It wasn’t planned, I was trying to shoot at Founder’s park but there were so many trees that it was blocking the colors of the sunrise. I ran over to the WWII and was amazed by the sky.
Thanks to the man who was cleaning up the memorial who let me use my tripod. Thanks to the parking ticket lady who almost gave me a ticket but I ran back to my car in time.
Hellooo Wednesday! 🙂
Since the blossoms have been blooming earlier than expected this year, that causes some problems with our April 1st tour of the cherry blossoms. By then, there probably won’t even been any blossoms. So, we’re trying our best to see if we can move everybody to our March 24th tour. If you’ve signed up for the April 1st tour, we’re trying to contact you!
In the meantime, in between time, I’ll be taking pics of the blossoms as much as I can. If you happen to see me out there, please say “hi”!
