Yesterday when I was walking back from taking pics of the waterfall, seen here, I saw a few butterflys picking at these flowers. I really wish I had my 100mm macro lens so I could of gotten a better shot, but I had to make due with my 24-105mm kit lens.
This morning I woke up early and headed out to Southern Maryland for a sunflower field! How exciting. I’ve been planning this trip for so long and this week is finally the peak of the flowers. When I actaully got there, I was so excited, but kinda surprised how short it was, it went up to my waist. I thought it would be taller than me.
Happy Weekend Everyone 🙂 Hope you all had a great July 4th. I entered a competition called “The Internet’s Most Talented Photographer” Here’s my entry:
Here are the images from the past week in case you missed it.
On Independence Day I showed you an image I had taken last year.
The following days I showed you the images I took this year at Iwo Jima Memorial here and here.
I had never seen flowers that had stems/vines that looked like this before. I thought it looked so cool and I wanted to be able to capture it so that it filled up the frame. They kinda look like spiderwebs or snowflakes. I love it.
In case you missed anything on the blog this past week, here’s a little recap.
I took you guys along with me to Scotts Run Nature Preserve. It was my first time there so I got a little freaked out. Please subscribe to my youtube channel if you like it
