Walking around looking for a good spot to take pictures, I noticed the moon looking beautiful over the Lincoln Memorial.

The only time to get an image without anyone at this memorial is to shoot at sunrise. Actually, there were about 3 other photographers there while I was taking this shot. Luckily, we managed to avoid each other in the shots.
Growing up in the DC area, the National Gallery of Art has always been one of my favorites. Is it still art when you’re photographing someone else’s work?
Last night, I decided to head out to see if I could get any good sunset shots. Unfortunately, there was only a little bit of color in a certain part of the sky. Fortunately, I had my 70-200mm with me to focus in on that little bit of color.

Loved walking down this hallway. It makes you feel like you are walking to somewhere magical. Which is true, you’re walking to the spa. Ahhhhhh……..
