How can anyone get sick of this place? No matter how many times I go, it’s still just as exciting and beautiful as the first time.

Even though I’m not done going through all my Japan images, I’m still out shooting. This was taken two weeks ago, right after it stopped raining. I’m a sucker for weather images and I thought this puddle brought a different perspective.

On our way home. See you soon DC <3
One of my favorite things to photograph in DC while its snowing is the white-on-white. White snow with the “white” memorials. It’s so simple and beautiful.
While walking around the other day I saw the WWI memorial out of the corner of my eye and made my way over there. It’s a memorial that’s not photographed often but it’s definietly not one to pass up. I got the standard shots of the memorial with the trees surrounding it but it wasn’t until I stepped into the memorial with the beautiful columns and trees that I got really excited.
OK, I changed my mind again. I’m back in love with snow.
Popped a few valentines day chocolates for breakfast and I was off to shoot on this very white Presidents day.

We were at the National Cathedral so early we could see the sun light peaking through the stained glass windows. It was literally the most colorful sunrise I’d ever seen. All the lights bouncing off the Cathedral walls was so cool and bright, it kind of turned the ceiling blue at one point.
