Although Hurricane Isaac won’t really affect us here in DC, I was wondering what the sky was going to look like in the morning because I know we’ll at least be getting rain. I decided to go to the Lincoln Memorial because I wanted to check out the reflecting pool. Looks like its all done except for the fencing that goes around it. Can’t wait til its completely open 🙂
Last time when I posted a pic of the Lincoln Memorial, I got a lot of feedback. Not because it was a great picture, but because I titled the post Jefferson Memorial 🙁 Sorry Mr. Lincoln. It won’t happen again.

Sunset in DC! Lately we’ve been getting some beautiful sunsets. So, I’m glad I got the chance to go out and get this shot. Sometimes its hard for me to go out for sunset because I kinda have to stop my day to go out. I also wanted to see the progression of the reflecting pool. I can’t wait to see it when it opens. Which should be sometime soon!
Hand held 3 exposure HDR image. Yea! It’s hard to stay that still during the exposures. You just gotta hold your breath.
Usually on days like this I’ll look up at the sky and go right back to sleep. It’s because of the lack of clouds, I thought it would be a dull sunrise. For some reason, I knew I had to go out and take pics. I’m glad I did 🙂
