Just trying to get a different view of the Capitol. My original intention was to get a shot of the Old Post Office, but it was hard for me to get a view of it with the sky. Another day Old Post Office, another day.

On yesterdays blog post I talked about waking up early. Well, I went to sleep early just so I could get up about 30 minutes early. SUCESS! But didn’t get to see the red glow that I saw the past few days. Next time for sure!
This morning I came to the conclusion that I need to wake up earlier than I already do. Why is that? Lately when I’ve been driving into the city, I see this amazing red glow. I drive as fast as I can and park my car, but then as soon as I get out, it’s gone. This just means I need to get to my destination even earlier :/
Have you ever been to the Library of Congress? I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, it’s BEAUTIFUL! This was a handheld shot, since there are so many people there, security won’t let you put up a tripod. But if you’re lucky and there isn’t a lot of people, they may let you 🙂
