I know I posted an image similar to this one a few weeks ago (seen here), but I wasn’t that happy with it. I think there was too much going on and a lot of color that it was hard to tell what was really going on. This one turned out much more successful I think.
Virginia
Ok, so I have to admit, I was running late this morning. I just wanted to stay in bed and sleep in. Even when I got out of bed, I kinda took my time getting into the car and leaving. I wanted to go to Great Falls park and try to get images there, but I didn’t make it there on time. On my way there, I passed this lake and I just had to stop. The foliage was so pretty and I thought, I always go to Great Falls, why not try something new.
This image was taken a little while ago in Manassas, Virginia. I didn’t get time to shoot this weekend so I’m looking forward to getting back out there. Autumn is here and the leaves have started to change. I think it’s time for me to go to skyline drive pretty soon.
Taken at the same time as this image, this light didn’t even last 5 minutes. I’m so glad I made it in time because it was seriously glowing. I was pretty amazed at the color.
I went out with my new friends William and Mike to Great Falls Park. This time I had my macro with me instead of wide angle. It put a whole new perspective to the park, paying attention to the details instead of the water.
It may have also been that it was 10am instead of 5am.
This image was taken last year in the Shenandoah Mountains at sunrise. Unfortunately there wasn’t much of a sun because of all the fog, but I’m really starting to get into these fog images. Lately I’ve been noticing myself hoping for it.
I had to post this image because I had a fail this morning. I tried going out for some sunrise images but as soon as I got to my location it started raining, HARD. So, I plan on going out tomorrow and hopefully bringing you guys something very new. In the mean time, I really like the abstractness of this image.
