The other day I was out in the city waiting for the sun to set when I stumbled onto these red plants in the Tulip Library. Actually I don’t know if they would be considered plants or flowers. Either way, I thought they were gorgeous. The whole time I was editing this picture I kept on thinking, ‘if this were a wrapping paper, I’d totally wrap all my christmas presents in this print’.
Last week I met up with my friend, Jason for sunrise pics at the Lincoln Memorial. But when we got there, there had to have been at least 50 people working out in some kind of workout group. It was fun to watch but we weren’t there to photograph them, we were there for the sunrise. As we walked along the reflecting pool, we were greeted by this beautiful purple-ish sunrise and ended the morning by the WWII memorial. I loved how the sun light reflected off the water. Seriously such a beautiful morning to start the day.
My first time at Batholdi Fountain! It was a little hard to find but really cool to see at night. I met up with my interns and I showed them how to use periscope while they said they’d show me how to use snapchat. It was a win-win if you ask me.
You learn so much from photography. One day I was out taking pictures and I saw this bird. I had no idea what it was called but a person walking by stopped to admire it too. I asked him what if he knew what kind of bird it was and he told me it was a blue heron. Ever since that day, it’s one of the only birds I can identify besides your usual pigeon, seagull, etc. So now whenever I see a blue heron, I’m very quick to tell anyone next to me that it’s a blue heron. I think I sound smarter when I can identify birds. HAHA.
Happy Labor Day! Whenever I think of labor day, I always think of the beginning of school. What about you? What do you think of?
I had a great weekend. I was with my friends, families and people I love most. What could be better?
This was taken the same morning as the previous Lake Anna image. Actually this was probably 10 minutes before this was taken. I tend to snap my image and keep on moving. I don’t like staying in the same spot or else you come home with a memory card full of the same images.
