A little bit before the fireworks started on July 4th, the boats and were getting ready to catch the best view of the city. I was standing close to the George Washington Parkway along with thousands of other people. I remember that night being kinda foggy and with the smoke coming from the fireworks, it made for a really interesting show.
Getting ready to come home today. I had an amazing trip and will definitely be telling you more about it as soon as I get some of these pictures edited 🙂
Looking forward to today. Today I’m meeting up with my awesome graphic designer, Anelise from Anelise Salvo Design Co. We met through instagram and have been working together for at least half a year now. She’s the lady responsible for my beautiful website, the monthly downloads and more things we’ve got in the works. Love working with her and can’t wait to meet face-to-face 🙂
It’s been a while since I’ve visited Great Falls Park. It’s always so much fun sitting on the rocks and just watching the water flow but I think they’ve started closing the gates at dark now. It’s a shame because I always found it so peaceful to be there early in the morning.
As you’re reading this, I’m probably on a plane to San Francisco! I’ll be there for Trey Ratcliff’s last photowalk stop on his tour and meeting up with a few other masters and apprentices of the Arcanum. It should be a super fun weekend. So if you’re in the bay area, definitely come check it out 🙂
A few months ago, I was lucky enough to be selected to tour the Smithsonian Natural History museum before it even opened! It was so fun to walk through the empty halls. While we were waiting for everyone to gather in the Atrium Cafe I took the time to take a picture of these cool steps. I loved the lines and repetition it created from below.
