Just got home from a quick get-away with Andrew and Frankie in Baltimore. It was nice to do something different over the weekend. We’re usually running a whole bunch house errands or have some kind of social event. This weekend we took the time for ourselves and spent some great quality time together.

This was on top Federal Hill right before we left. It was crazy windy and I’m so appreciated of my guys for hanging out with me while I was out doing what I love. But the last stop was Jack and Zach Food. Seriously the best pancakes ever.

I bet you didn’t know I’m a certified scuba diver. Yup! Andrew and I got certified right before we left for this trip. We had gone scuba diving a few times before this trip and every time we had to go through that introductory class and it’s always the same information plus it’s kinda boring. So we took the plunge and became certified!

I took these with my little canon point and shoot camera. I don’t even remember what it was called but I do remember getting the underwater housing from Amazon. It was this cute house that was mostly clear but had teal blue buttons all over 🙂

HOLY MOLY! I feel like I hit the jackpot. The other day I was going through some old images trying to look for a particular one when I found a folder labeled “Thailand 2009”. An instant smile went on my face as soon as I opened the folder.

In 2009, Andrew and I went to visit his sister, Audrey, who had just joined the Peace Corp in Thailand. It was an amazing trip from Chiang Mai, Bangkok to Phuket. I thought it would be fun to share some of the images with you. Mind you that this was pre-Angela B. Pan Photography days. All these were shot for fun but for all you photographers out there- they were shot in automatic and jpg 🙁

Taken at Wat Pho in Bangkok with my fish eye lens. Whatever happened to that thing? I completely forgot I had one until now.

This baby elephant is probably the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.

I remember taking this picture. We were on a river taxi waiting for some people to get on and off the boat by our hotel. I remember thinking, “oh cool, I can use this for my scrapbook” HAHA

How awesome is that! I loved look at these images again. It bought back so many fun memories. But theres still more to come tomorrow. Part II of Thailand.

Let me know in the comments. Did you like this post? Would you be interested in seeing more of my older images (pre-Angela B Pan Photography days?).

I love mornings like this. Seriously, is there a better way to start off the day? I don’t think so. Theres something about a beautiful spring morning that makes you feel so good. Even when you’re stuck in traffic and really don’t want to go to work, how could you be upset when you’re looking at this amazingness?

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all my irish and non-irish friends 🙂

I am sooo completely honored and blown away that my image is on the cover of the WASHINGTONIAN!!! *Happy Dance* It came to a complete shock when I received the email and I couldn’t be more excited.

So, I wanted to share the love. I’ll be giving away 24×16″ prints to a randomly selected winner on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Feel free to enter in all three social media platforms, I’ll select a winner from each. That means there are 3 chances to win 🙂 All I ask is that you take a selfie with the magazine and hashtag it #ABPinDC and #Washingtonian. That’s it! I want to see all your beautiful faces.

Contest ends and I’ll announce the 3 winners on April 6th. Questions? Feel free to comment below
