I remember walking around the Capitol grounds and specifically thinking about lines and the architecture of this building. I was super inspired by @JasonMPeterson and wanted to do something similar. But this looks nothing like anything he would do. Especially since it’s in color and he’s a black and white photographer. HAHA. Walking across the Brooklyn bridge has always been one of those bucket list things to do for me. I mean how cool is it that you can walk across this suspension bridge and gets these totally amazing views of the city and East River? Next, I want to do the Golden Gate Bridge. But I want to do it when it’s really foggy out. I think that’d be so fun.

So many people run for shelter when the storm approaches. With a scene like this, it’s hard not to just sit and enjoy. I wasn’t the only one though. I was surprised that there were about 15 other people sitting at the WWII memorial with me, enjoying the weather.
