I remember walking around the Capitol grounds and specifically thinking about lines and the architecture of this building. I was super inspired by @JasonMPeterson and wanted to do something similar. But this looks nothing like anything he would do. Especially since it’s in color and he’s a black and white photographer. HAHA. Either way, I love his work and you should check out his images on instagram.
I had to google ” who is that statue on top of Capitol dome” to find out what she was called. Fun fact: this lady weighs 15,000lbs!!!
Walking across the Brooklyn bridge has always been one of those bucket list things to do for me. I mean how cool is it that you can walk across this suspension bridge and gets these totally amazing views of the city and East River? Next, I want to do the Golden Gate Bridge. But I want to do it when it’s really foggy out. I think that’d be so fun.
Have you guys been to the Newseum before? I’ve been to it when it used to be in Arlington, Virginia but it’s permanently in DC. I’m kinda waiting for my chance to head to the rooftop. I’ve seen such cool images from up there. Anyone want to invite me to go with them? 🙂
Headed to Florida for a few days with my boo. Can’t wait for some quality time with Andrew and the beach <3
So many people run for shelter when the storm approaches. With a scene like this, it’s hard not to just sit and enjoy. I wasn’t the only one though. I was surprised that there were about 15 other people sitting at the WWII memorial with me, enjoying the weather.
