I’ll give you one guess, can you tell me where I took this pic?
It’s starting to get cold in DC and I think I’m just dreaming of warmer weather. I went straight to my Miami folder and was like, “I gotta have something in here”. Wow I can’t believe I would of missed this shot.
Its so hard to wake up early during the winter time. It’s so cold that all I want to do is snuggle some more in my blankets. Once I’m up though, I love it. For some reason the sunrise is so different in the cold weather than warm. This image was taken at Founders Park in Alexandria, VA. It was so beautiful and foggy that I was have a great time shooting. The only thing is that now I’m going to have to start wearing gloves when I go out in the mornings. Holding the tripod in my hand gets cold!!
A few weeks ago, the Library of Congress open its doors to the Reading Room to the public. This happens only two times a year, so I knew I had to be there. I had seen the room but only behind plated plastic.
What seemed like a normal outting to the Library of Congress, turned out to take a lot longer than expected. When I got there, I found out there was a suspecious package the the police had to investigated. I waited for a good hour and a half before I was let into the building. It was a little excitment before the main event 🙂
From far away I think this looks like an angel.
Walking around Meadowlark Gardens I found these unusually feathery things. I couldn’t even tell you what they are, but I loved all the water droplets ont hem and all the lines it created. You gotta pay close attention to your surroundings to get an image like this.
