Springtime is always a beautiful time in the city. Although the cherry blossoms get the most coverage in the Washington DC area, I think the Magnolia trees have to be my second favorite.
You can see the cutest little things with a macro lens. I didn’t notice this little guy at first but noticed him when I was taking pictures of the plant thingy he’s on. C’mon! You guys know I’m awful at identifying plants and things that grow out of the ground.
For me, the WWII memorial is one of the more difficult memorials to photograph in DC. It’s so big with so many beautiful fountains and things to look at. It’s hard to get it all in one image.
I took a little walk down the trail in Great Falls Park. I wanted to find something different to photograph in the park. I think I may have found it, but I want to go back to try some different compositions. What do you think of this one?
