Today may be the first wintery weather of the season. I say that if it’s going to be wintery weather, it better be the good kind. Either not enough snow to cover the roads OR so much snow that you’re stuck home for a week. To be honest, it probably not even going to be anything at all.
This basilica is amazingly beautiful. From the moment you enter to the time you leave, you stand there with your jaw to the floor. Which also makes it so hard to photograph. I don’t think one single image could really do this place any justice. You really have to experience it for yourself.
Going through some older images of Sedona makes me miss the southwest. Hope to visit again in 2017
Taking my parents to the airport today so they can go to Taiwan. Without me 🙁
Here’s a view from Elephant Mountain last time I was there. This image is special to me because its a place I remember visiting from when I was younger. My grandparents used to live close to this trail and my grandfather used to walk up and down this mountain everyday for years. Pretty incredible. Also it must be the secret to a long life because he just celebrated his 100th birthday earlier this year. Hope to see you soon, Gong Gong!
Beautiful foggy morning on the Potomac this morning. This was right before it started pouring. Got out right in time!
Winter is definietly my least favorite season. It’s just so unbearably cold sometimes that I feel like it’s a race just to get back into the car or inside the house just to feel comfortable again. Most of the time when I’m out shooting I have at least 2 pairs of pants on and countless layers on top.
With that said, I feel like this image perfectly represents winter for me. Like the branches are going towards the Jefferson Memorial saying “I’m gonna getcha.”
