The sunflowers are here! Yesterday I headed down to McKee-Beshers to check out the sunflowers. They were a little hard to find but totally worth it. I’m excited to go back soon for a sunset shot. I think they’d be great!

A pic I took at Great Falls Park a few weeks ago at sunset. I was trying to get the tree limbs and leaves to frame the image.
I’ve been seeing a lot of these guys lately. Mostly just hanging out by the water, but this is the best shot I’ve gotten. I love how he’s backlit and it kinda looks like he’s glowing.

Saturday morning I got very little sleep and made my way to Annapolis to catch the sunrise. I was almost positive that it was going to be a beautiful sunrise, but the hard part was trying to find the right spot. It wasn’t until after the sunrise did I find Spa Creek Bridge. Now I know for next time 🙂
Usually I walk right past this boat when I’m in Great Falls, MD, but this time was different. I think it was the sunset colors, but I’m so glad I actually stopped and took my time with this shot to get the perfect angle.
