Nap town at sunrise. Luckily the water was calm to get a nice, sharp image of the boats.
This has got to be one of the most beautiful ceilings I’ve seen in Maryland. What do you think?
St. Mary’s Parish has always been on my “to photograph” list. I’ve seen so many images of it on flickr that I’ve always kept it in the back of my mind. I was a little intimidated when I walked it. There were a lot of people sitting in the pews and I didn’t want to disturb them by my camera clicks. Next time I visit, I’ll try to go when no one is inside.
This image was particularly hard. Since this was taken at the edge of a dock, the raft in the front of the image was bopping up and down. Since I shoot HDR and combine multiple exposures, the boat looked like a ghost. I had to use some ninja photoshop skills to keep it all in focus and sharp.
