I’m not sure how it happened but I spent a lot of time off from taking pictures in December. I think I was using cold, windy weather as an excuse. So it felt awesome when I got back out and shot my first sunrise of 2017. It was still cold and windy but I missed wondering around with my camera. I don’t want another long break like that to happen for a long time.

Cuz I couldn’t make it to the first one, the second sunrise of the year was just as nice. The fog and predawn colors were definietly worth the early morning wake up call. I’m really looking forward to 2017 and capturing even more images than last year 🙂
DC isn’t just the monuments. It’s a beautiful place with so many things inside the city and surrounding states. Here are a few of my personal favorite images from this past year.

This year started off with a crazy snow storm. Crazy but beautiful.
Inside the National Portrait Gallery. I had never been to the very top floor. Very cool! Highly recommended.
Thank you all so much for tagging along with me on all my crazy adventures this year. It was definietly a blast, but I know 2017 is going to be even better! Cheers to you! <3

Always awesome to capture lightning. Even cooler when it’s by the Washington Monument!
Living on the east coast of the United States, we definietly get some crazy weather. Especially during hurricane season in the Caribbean. It seems like we get a lot of their overspills and aftermaths but I ain’t complaining. It’s exciting to see clouds like this come along.
So awesome to be able to have shot this from the balcony of our hotel room. I’ve never been so relaxed and comfortable during a lightning storm. If only shooting all images were this easy…
