I took this shot right before I left to Philly. You know how it is before you leave for a trip. You get so busy running errands and making sure you have everything in order before you leave, so I didn’t have time to process any of these images.

I remember this being a super peaceful morning. I tried walking to the Lincoln Memorial a different way then I’m used to so I could see if I could find a new POV. Then I thought about the beautiful engraving on the steps. I was so concentrated on trying to get this shot, I didn’t even realize there were some army guys working out on the bottom of the steps. All of the sudden they all started charging up the steps. Well Good Morning to you guys too 😉

I love mornings like this. Seriously, is there a better way to start off the day? I don’t think so. Theres something about a beautiful spring morning that makes you feel so good. Even when you’re stuck in traffic and really don’t want to go to work, how could you be upset when you’re looking at this amazingness?

Yes, more snow today. I know every winter I always say, “I’m so excited for snow! When’s the snow coming? I want more!” But now that this is our 100th snow storm this winter and it’s supposed to be the biggest one we’ve gotten so far, I’m pretty over it. Bring on warm weather and the cherry blossoms!

The nice part about living and working in DC is to see views like this during your morning commute. It makes traffic go by so much faster. At least for me 🙂

Third day in a row for pretty epic sunrises. I love it! I love how they’ve all been so different but all beautiful at the same time.

I’m writing this on Sunday morning, so I can watch the Super Bowl tonight with my family. So, how about that game huh? Go Seahawks!
