Growing up in the Washington DC area, sometimes its hard to find new perspectives on monuments and places that have been photographed thousands of times. I think the Memorial Bridge is a great place to get started.
Springtime is always a beautiful time in the city. Although the cherry blossoms get the most coverage in the Washington DC area, I think the Magnolia trees have to be my second favorite.
For me, the WWII memorial is one of the more difficult memorials to photograph in DC. It’s so big with so many beautiful fountains and things to look at. It’s hard to get it all in one image.
