One of those beautiful mornings that you don’t forget. I remember exactly when I took this image. I was on my way to the MLK memorial because it had just been built. I wasn’t planning on taking any shots of the Monument but how could I not? I probably spent about 5 minutes here and kept on moving. I was trying to get to the MLK for sunrise but didn’t really go as planned. It’s ok because this shot was well worth it.
Last stop on our tour, Jim took us to the Cannon House Office Building. It was really cool and fun because we were the only ones there. We even laid down in the middle of the room to get a straight shot of the dome. Fun times on a Sunday afternoon 🙂
It’s official! I love the Tidal Basin. I think it’s partially because the reflection pool by the Lincoln is under construction, but I love all the reflections and different angles I get. There are so many view points and its always amazing at sunrise.
This image kinda reminds me of the beach. What do you think?
Although I don’t make it out to Manassas much, everytime I do go I always end up with these amazing images. This was taken a few months ago during a really foggy morning. It made for great atmosphere.
