Instead of heading to DC last night, I took a walk around my neighborhood lake. It was nice. It definietly forced me to slow down and take a look at everything around me. I wasn’t so concentrated on making a grand image. I was focused on finding the little things.
Went out to the Tidal Basin last night after it stopped raining. Usually you can see some pretty colors in the sky after the rain, but I think the clouds were trying to move out. Fast.
For me, the WWII memorial is one of the more difficult memorials to photograph in DC. It’s so big with so many beautiful fountains and things to look at. It’s hard to get it all in one image.
Wanted to create a dramatic/moody scene. What do you think?
