I thought Id check out some of my older Hawaii pictures. I know there still some I haven’t processed but it makes me miss the islands.

I’m back from California! What an amazing place to be 🙂 I love the beautiful weather and amazing landscapes. The skies were clear the whole time I was there, which means no clouds. Clouds always add interest to pictures but I think it works for this image. What do you think?
It’s pretty rare to capture a scene at the tidal basin during cherry blossom season with no one in it. It took a lot of patience and a little cropping 🙂
Taken about 20 minutes after this image, the GW parkway is a great place to watch the sunrise.

After the four days at the tidal basin, I got a little tired of going. So, I decided to try out a different spot.
This shot was taken while I was practicing for the cherry blossoms. I was trying to scout out good locations for sunrise and sunset and stumbled upon this amazing view of the Monument.
