There’s always a ton of tourists at the Lincoln memorial during sunset. It’s nearly impossible to get an image without them. Sometimes they can add to the image though. I thought there was a bird by the columns while I was post processing but when I zoomed up a little closer, realized it was a guy with his hands in the air. HAHA!
This image was actually an accident. I meant to go to the Hirshhorn Museum and take a few images of the architecture there, but it was all closed off. Rather than getting a trespassing ticket, I decided to go a little further and shoot the Smithsonian Castle. I’ve never actually taken the time to explore it, but if you plan on visiting, definitely head around the back and check out the garden. It’s beautiful.

How cute is Albert? This statute is huge in person. It’s fun to crawl and climb all over him and pose for a pic. I just want to pinch his cheeks!
