Last night around sunset, I was walking around the Capitol to find the good light. I noticed that it was right behind the lions of the Ulysses S. Grant Statue and thought this was a cool composition that made it look like it was look overing the city.
Even though I’ve gone to the Lincoln Memorial hundreds of times, it’s always different. You’ll never really know what to expect.
For the past few weeks we’ve been having some crazy rain storms. I thought it would be cool to get a panoramic of the reflecting pool to catch the whole scene.
